In my fifth and final year at the Theory Centre working on my dissertation. Using Lacan to theorize 'the city' (really, Toronto) for the purpose of rethinking 'the political' (in cities). Interested in what we mean by 'cities' and 'urban space'; what notions of pleasure and desire are at work when we imagine 'the city'? What do we want from our cities - what do our cities want *from* us?
